  Darrell’s career has predominately been as the managing principal of Swanson Architects, established during 1978. He has completed hundreds of successful projects in Montana, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Texas, Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, and Massachusetts.

  Darrell is an efficient, self-motivated, creative, analytical, multi-tasking, and problem solving licensed architect and design-builder. He provides compassionate conceptual studies, detailed construction documents, permitting, construction administration, and post construction services on architectural, space planning, and interior design projects. His services have been provided to institutional, educational, government, commercial, industrial, single-family residential, and multi-family residential clientele.

  Darrell has aligned well with his client’s vision and has maximized the building’s functionality and design by carefully listening, communicating, and building consensus within the established time and budget constraints. This has been while mentoring and increasing productivity with in house staff, managing engineering consultants, and respectfully working with contractors. Money and time has been saved, punch lists shortened during construction completion, and client satisfaction has been enhanced during the design process through to client occupancy.
